Due to the experience and respect S.I.T.T.I. has accomplished in the operative environment, it has allowed them to work freely to design and manufacture various models of suitable consoles, both for Control Towers, and Air Traffic Control Centres. The latest to the family of S.I.T.T.I. Consoles has been designed taking into consideration the importance of both ergonomics and the necessity to be able to integrate with different equipment.
The peculiarity of the new design is that each console is composed of a lower fixed part, which supports different modules on the upper part. The position of each module is interchangeable. The console's configuration is totally modular and can be modified with ease and without any mechanical alteration. The theory of this new design is that the modularity is applied not only to the layout composition, but also to each console itself.
		Construction The consoles are manufactured using 2.0 mm formed and welded steel, which gives the consoles supreme strength and stability. For the removable panels, 1.5 mm steel is used. Framework and panels are both undercoated and top coated with acrylic stoving enamel using a textured finish. The dry film thickness being at least 50 microns.
The fire safety rating of the console is both: First class with CSE RF 2/75/A and CSE RF 3/77 methods, which is dictated by CNR (Italian National Research Council).
