Profile: Producer of high quality Voice Communication Systems
In 1948, S.I.T.T.I. was closely linked with the Italian Air Force (A.M.I). They
were both involved and responsible for the design and manufacturing of the
first V.C.S.S. in Italy. So involved in fact, that the whole Italian Civil and
Military Air Traffic Control activities are still performed and designed by
S.I.T.T.I. and its VCSS.
S.I.T.T.I. both designs and manufactures its Voice Communications Switching
Systems for Air Traffic Control. With over 50 years maturated experience, the
company has a very active presence in both the Italian and International
Aviation Organisations. Inclusive of these are also E.N.A.V. (Italian Civil
Aviation), A.M.I. (Italian Air Force), ICAO and EUROCONTROL.
S.I.T.T.I. has developed its products utilizing state of the art technology
taking into account the proposed communication models for the Air Traffic
Network within the Future Air Navigation System (FANS).
The company has been registered in the Italian Constructor's Book and holds a
1st Degree Certificate from the Italian Ministry of Post and Telecommunication.
This certificate states that S.I.T.T.I. has
the qualifications to both manufacture and install high level telecommunication
systems. The military authority has entrusted in S.I.T.T.I. to help develop its
security systems, therefore implementing the control of both classified studies
and works.
