Mobile Shelter for ARO (Aeronautical Report Office) MET |
The ARO Mobile operative Unit can host operating personnel, equipment, services and related accessories for its proper use. It consists of No.2 shelters that can be assembled on-site designed as follows: the first, consisting of one-room, should contain the zone of operation, and a waiting room; the second, divided into 4 zones, should host the equipment room, a resting area for operators and two restrooms, one that can be accessed from outside and one from the resting area.

The shelters are formed by a portable structure designed to resist the expected load, on which are mounted horizontal and vertical buffers equipped with proper openings. To ensure internal environmental conditions suitable for expected personnel and equipment, the shelter is equipped with an electric system, air-conditioning system, fire system, smoke alarm unit, videophone, sewage storage tank, toilets, flooring, inner liner, wooden doors and connections for optional drinking water storage tank. Weight and dimensions minimise problems caused by transport and assembly. The materials and finishing treatments used qualify the shelter to be installed in any domestic airport.

Particular care has been taken to avoid cold bridges. The non-metallic materials used are self-extinguishing. Access doors are anti-panic, provided with triple turn latch locks with external key and internal handle, allowing opening even with a closet lock. External surface finishing treatments are: for the parts built in fretted steel plate with under-tread epoxy base primer (thickness 50 µm) and a surface layer of epoxy finish coat - for accessories in galvanized iron in compliance with UNI E14.07.0000/93. The shelter internal surfaces are formed by panels made in insulated aluminium sheet with panels in M. D. wood lined in fur.
